Rynerson OBrien Architecture’s residential practice focuses on the late 19th and early 20th century homes that comprise much of the San Francisco Bay Area’s regional vernacular. We design additions and alterations to older homes that fulfill our clients’ requirements while incorporating the character-defining element and historical vocabulary that characterize the original structure. For new homes, we apply our knowledge of period architecture to produce designs that are historically accurate and thoroughly adapted to modern living.
