Portfolio: Residential: Kitchen, San Francisco CA 04: Sitting area   The sitting area is positioned two risers down from the kitchen in order to be as close as possible to the garden level. As with the island, portions of the cabinets facing the sitting area are detailed as furniture. The result is a distinctively San Francisco version of a California kitchen.
