THIS HOME, ENTIRELY REBUILT from foundations up, features a nearly doubling of the original floor area while retaining the appearance of a single story home. Because of a sensitive location, it was necessary for the house to be understated — while greatly increasing the utility. This was accomplished while adding only a 250 square foot family room addition and a number of bays on the ground floor, while at the same time building three bedrooms, two baths and a workout room in the “attic,” which features five dormers.
