Portfolio: Residential: Danville CA 01: Exterior 2   The massing of the house was deliberately planned to suggest an organic process of growth by addition. The problem of how to provide the attached garage preferred by the owners was resolved by setting back a garage structure based on Victorian carriage house. A game room occupies the second floor of the carriage house/garage.
