THE BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA headquarters of Peachpit Press. The client needed to combine an open plan office, with enclosed conferencing and shipping and storage space in an industrial-grade concrete warehouse. Fronting busy Gilman Street in West Berkeley, the final design is a spacious, modern office, mixing open work zones with self-contained conference rooms and administrators offices.
