About Us: People: Jack McGuire, project manager A former member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters with a background as a self-employed general contractor in the East Bay, Jack grew up in Manhattan and Mallorca, Spain. As befits an erstwhile vagabond and all-around craftsman, Jack exercises the problem-solving skills of a seasoned builder and the cultural insight of a world traveler. He attended the California College of Arts and Crafts and holds a BA in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. McGuire has worked for Rynerson O’Brien since 1998.
